About the author
Steve Wiseman runs the Norwich and District Citizens Advice Bureau, a thriving advice centre each year consulted by around 57,000 people. This entails day-to-day management, but also fundraising and development to ensure the Bureau meets the needs of the public. His other jobs have included freelance journalism, advice work, teaching, lecturing and a few years as a Whitehall civil servant.
