This kit offers the instructions and information you need to help manage your own divorce. If the divorce is not contested and you live in England or Wales, you may be able to manage everything yourself, without the expense of a solicitor. In Scotland you may have to use a solicitor, for example if you have young children, but this kit can still save you money by helping you prepare the paperwork in advance.

The kit explains the legal and financial issues involved and provides common sense advice on how to conduct your divorce, taking you step-by-step from the petition to the final decree. It includes divorce forms both in loose leaf form and on a free CD. Finally, there is advice on the practical aspects of separation.
