This pack contains the forms you need to fill out for letting unfurnished property on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy for England & Wales or a Short Assured Tenancy for Scotland. It sets out the landlord's and tenant's obligations, how the deposit money is handled, and how the agreement can be ended.
AT5 Notice of a Short Assured Tenancy is included.
The forms were designed by solicitors to be easy to complete and each Pack contains four documents - two copies valid in England & Wales and two copies valid in Scotland. To make things easier, you'll also find a completed example of the tenancy agreement inside, with guidance notes on how to fill one in.
The agreements also include the new law on Tenancy Deposit Protection Schemes, which was introduced in England & Wales on 6 April 2007.
